HARRISBURG, PA. -- Hundreds of restaurant, bar and tavern owners from across Pennsylvania gathered in the rotunda of the state Capitol to lobby the General Assembly in support of a bill that would allow them to install video poker and keno machines in their establishments.
The bill, introduced last year by Rep. Paul Costa, D-Wilkins, would legalize those game machines in bars and restaurants and allow up to three machines in each establishment, or a total of 36,000 machines across the state. The bill has been stuck in committee for months.
