Three Card Poker (or 3 Card Poker) is a poker-based live casino game where the player takes on the dealer head-to-head, so there is no need to wait for other players to get involved as there is in conventional online poker games. As the name of the game suggests, each hand in Three Card Poker consists of three cards, and the game is played in two stages, one requiring an Ante bet and the other (which is optional) requiring a second bet of the same size.

It is hardly surprising considering the amount of thrill and excitement attached to it. It is also no surprise that the tradition of gambling has passed from generation to generation among mankind. Although we no longer gamble in the same way that our ancestors did, we now have highly evolved forms and ways of gambling. The fact is that with time, gambling also evolved to keep pace with the progress in other fields. As you can now see, with the advent of computers and the internet, one of the most popular forms of gambling these days is online gambling. It is also no surprise that when you come to the virtual world, the easiest and the most popular game is bingo. It is fairly simple to play so that even novices have a chance of winning big money even as they are starting out. You dont need to study the game and get expertise in it to play and win big money. That is why most people, even if they play other online games, love to play online bingo. The popularity of online bingo reached such immense proportions that more and more sites have sprung up in the recent past to address this ever increasing demand. The internet literally has thousands of websites offering online bingo. Before a novice starts out to play online bingo, it is important to consider a few aspects. Firstly, the site one chooses should be safe and should not pose any financial or personal risk to the player in terms of information revealed on the site. Secondly, there should be a large variety of games as well as jackpots, cash prizes, joining bonuses, etc. These are useful parameters to judge an online bingo site with. Blog de Paris Part Deux
January 27th, 2012 | Posted by admin in casino | No CommentsBlog de Paris Part Deux
“We contend that for a nation to try to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle.”Winston Churchill Stumps as you would say in cricket, David Sheperd would have been hopping around, one hundred and eleven started the Euro 1000 PLO at the ACF. (Apologies to those whodon’t like or understand the cricket references) I had an unluckyish draw, if that is possible in Paris, and I had a table full of the PLO ‘regs’. When our table broke after a few hours there were fewer chips on it than any other and I still just had a starting stack. The draw in tournament poker is as important as anything else. Cut the boring bits and after 7 hours I still had a starting stack, we were down to 28 and it was the dinner break. Bruno Fitoussi invited a few of usto be his guests at the top table. Simon Trumper, Jeff Duval, Padraig Parkinson (looking a little bruised following his mugging in Paris the other night but in good form) and Nic Szeremeta were all present.. They put some plates of thin pink stripes of something on the table with half a lemon on top. Nic asked what they were and Bruno told him ‘fish eggs’. Padraig told us to plant them in the garden and grow some fish. So that’s why the action is so good here. There is an annual membership fee at the ACF now and Bruno was explaining that the French authorities take 70% of everything in tax and that’s gross not net. So out of every 10 euro taken in table charges the ACF get to keep only 3. It is because of this that four of the other main casinos/ card rooms in Paris have closed recently. Apparently the ACF is not like a normal casino it is what they call an ‘association’. Without the membership fees the ACF may not make an actual profit and is not allowed legally for an ‘association’ to lose money. Padraig informs us that he is going to become an association too. In Germany we are told the government don’t take 70% they take 90%! Hence the lack of places to play live poker in Germany. We thought it was bad in the UK with the newish tax hikes on card rooms. When are these governments actually going to employ someone who understands the business? After dinner things improved and by the time we hit the money spots (top 16) I had average chips. Sadly two or three pots later and having flopped a set and straight draw and turning a flush draw too I found myself all in for the first time in 14 hours. It was to be the last time too and I picked up Euro 2100 for 12th spot. Kudos to Nicolas Fraioli for a great structure though and a great run event. Tonight I am off to the EFOP awards where Barny has been nominated for rookie of the year and then back on the Eurostar tomorrow lunchtime. Next stop is the Genting Poker Series in Birmingham from the 1st to the 5th of February. I’ll be there all week and hope to see at least a few of you there too. At least Star City don’t do fingerprinting.

December 29th, 2010 Admin If you want to improve your craps game and start making money from this activity, you should definitely use a system. This is because craps systems will help you lower the house edge and thus they will offer you the possibility of making money in the long term. This is a general rule you should know. On the other hand, there are many other odds you should be aware of if you want to be a successful craps player. Professional gamblers from all over the world and in every game know that a great factor that increases the chances of winning is discipline. You should be aware that discipline can help you stay focused all the time. If you want to make money, you should make the same bets in the same situations no matter the situation of your bankroll or your state of mind at a certain time. This is probably the hardest part of becoming a professional gambler but it will surely help you many times. Craps players usually do this for fun but there are people who make money from this activity too. You should try to apply the tips from this article and create yourself a system. If you will be able to do that, chances are you will win at craps in the long run. This is what every craps player wants: winning in the long run. Iowa In The Mix To Become First US Online Gambling State
January 12th, 2012 | Posted by admin in poker | No CommentsIowa In The Mix To Become First US Online Gambling State
The state of Iowa has been out in front of the gambling revolution taking place in the US. Back when the majority of the casinos in the country resided in Las Vegas and Nevada, Iowa decided to legalize riverboat casinos. Other states soon followed, and now almost every state in the US has operational casinos.A couple of days before Christmas, the Department of Justice changed their long-standing opinion on the 1961 Wire Act. In the new opinion, the DoJ claimed that only sports betting is illegal under the Wire Act. That left the door open for state lawmakers to start discussing the possibility of online gambling regulations within their borders.Iowa considers themselves a leader in the gaming industry, so naturally, talk has begun about making Iowa one of the first states to add online casinos to their gambling repertoire. Iowa legislators had already been discussing the issue over the past couple of years, well before the DoJ opinion was released.”Iowa likes being the first on these things,” said Whittier Law Professor I. Nelson Rose, considered by many to be the top legal analyst when it comes to gambling in the US. Rose has been lobbying for online gambling regulations for several years at a federal level in the country.Federal lawmakers are also considering possible changes to the current laws. Several bills are on the table that would circumvent the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006, The UIGEA makes it illegal for financial institutions to process online gambling payments, although many of these institutions have gone on record as saying blocking these transactions would be nearly impossible.Iowa commissioned a study that sought the financial effects of regulating online casinos. One such study returned data that asserts the state could gain upwards of $12 million annually in gaming tax revenue. Iowa has been in the casino industry for over two decades, and has profited hundreds of millions of dollars from the gaming. Other articles byVicky Coren You are here: Home Poker Articles & Features Vicky Coren Guardian Series: Five New Year Resolutions Victoria Coren It’s quite fun, this Guardian experiment. They’re having a games slot every day – bridge, chess, that sort of thing – and I’m doing the poker one. It’s aimed at the fairly new player, who might have watched a bit of poker on TV and just started playing with their friends and wants a few tips. So for the moment in the column I’m generally advocating caution and covering basics – it’s a way of trying to help people avoid losing all their money in their first few weeks or months playing the game! If the links are going up on the Hendon Mob page, I hope I don’t get a flood of people shouting at me on the forum – ‘What do you MEAN, pass A9 before the flop?’ and that kind of thing. This isn’t complex stuff to be debated by people who have already been playing for years – it’s just start-up tips and ways not to go broke.
